Custom Grill Help?

Hi to everyone and the from!!

IV been looking on your from now for some time now, IV had my RX8 now for too months and loving it every second!!

But in the UK we don’t have the spoiler like you do so as im so keen on this iv ordered it for mine, and painted the re-bumper to match the colour of my car (Blue) and all so in the UK we don’t have the chrome Sign to go around the fog light so that was ordered too!!
Just looking at the Mazdaspeed kit, but need more pennies before I go order ding

Well now iv told you a little about my self, I really like this grill in the pic, but I did have a clear pic of the front and after two days searching I cant find it anywhere, because my plan is to make it for my car and then match it from the fog lights too,

Kind Regards

Steve (AKA Trick)

Very scary post. That looks to be Troy Lee's Designed RX-8, custom grill.. one of a kind. It will be pretty expensive for you to replicate exactly like that one.

I tell you people, this is scary... maybe it's some sort of UK slang? Like how some people here in California talks like... "k-rad dood, no way it's hella cool neways yoo rock i gots dem kool ride down at my pad for all the fine beyotches to ride..." Or something like that...

Sorry Trick, didn't realise it was you - thought it was a troll at first!

As for the front grill, check out the DIY forum, I'm sure i've seen some instructions in there for how to get the look above without spending too much.

I need some custom grills made up for my INGs bumper, the thin aluminium they send out with it is not going to withstand much battering - worried about that big radiator behind the main grill. At least I've got a very thin extra layer infront of the oil coolers!

I reckon that it's one of those English (the country, not the language) dialects. Some of them are worse than redneck dialects (e.g. "them ones") :P

Not really. I have one on the planning stage right now. Omicron is going to be the proud owner of one just like it. I have the extra OEM sitting in my room, I am just trying to catch up with some other stuff before tackling it. Simply, it is just taking some acrylic sheeting to make the cross billet and then some 1/2" pvc pipe ripped down the middle lengthwise to use for the vertical supports. Everything gets fitted then it all gets painted and finished in the original OEM frame. Yeah, it is total custom work but, well worth it. Omi has been waiting patiently for me to do this since late summer when he sent me the extra OEM he had to do this with.

Here is the pic you are looking for, Trick. Sorry, I already added our patented Fog Light Accent Strakes to it, didn't have an original pic left.

Here is the pic that I am planning on making, a bit of a revision from the original.

And the third one is if someone really wanted to go "BILLET" crazy. :D

Trick is dyslexic and doesn't use a spell checker very often so it would be nice to cut him some slack. I'm sure most people get the idea of what he's asking or saying, it's just the spelling that's wrong.
