For those of you who are bashing me here, I already explained it many times that it was my Japanese contact's mistake. I ordered those sidemarkers with the Mazdaspeed RX-8 bodykits and I was told they were Mazdaspeed parts. I don't live in Japan so I have no way of knowing. The car just came out in Japan 2 months ago so no one has any pricing. I had no pricing for reference until JT Imports is selling it and then I found out I might have paid too much and I did. The group buy prices I posted were instructed by my Japanese contact. He gave me the prices on how many I order and what kind of price break I get and I just followed it.

Everyone who have purchased them or have put down a deposit all got their refunds, even people who didn't know about this forum. They didn't even ask for refund but I just did it because I think it's the right thing to do.

It was my mistake for hurrying to get whatever JDM parts I can get so I can offer them to you. It's my mistake for not to wait until other people are selling them so I know if I am paying the right price.

Whatever the case is, no one got ripped off, especially those who did not purchase.

I have a good reputation among the rx7 people. Why don't you go to the rx7forum or nopistons and check it out yourself. Give me a reason why I want to ruin my reputation just over some clear sidemarkers so I will lose all the customers.

For those of you waiting to get your clear sidemarkers, I just paid $70 for one of four pairs in stock at rotaryextreme.com. They should be sending them out today. Sorry, I didn't feel like waiting for the group buy. Besides, I liked the rotaryextreme site better since it used paypal. I'll let you know when I get them.

Anyone got their clear blinkers yet

mikeb, you can email Jason at jt-imports, but according to their website it will take 5-8 days from the time THEY ship them, not including any possible time it may take for them to get the part (assuming the have none in stock). I would give it a week.

planman, I'm sure Rotary Extreme has some that probably didn't sell the 1st time around, and they are in the US so you'll probably get them sooner assuming they have 'clear-corners' in stock.

Actually, just got a confirmation e-mail that they were mailed via US priority mail and should be here in 2-3 days. Looks like I'll be putting them on early next week. One of Chuck's e-mails stated he only has 3 more of them in stock.

i ordered from JT also. i asked how long it would take and he told me this on 8/5 at 4:07AM

"A lot of stuff comes into Cali and im getting them from Mazda tomorrow so I would say at the max 4-5 days"

so thats like 2-3 more days

Yeah I posted before on the old thread that was deleted. For WEST coast it usually takes 4-5 days, and EAST coast is usually 5-6 days, 8 days being the max. Sometimes is takes 8 in Canada and some places in the middle of no where in the states too.

I did check a couple of them and Im assuming since the Typhoon is attacking the main land right now, that maybe why they are all still here in Japan. We will call an see directly.

The rest of you good luck with your parts and depending on if your on the WEST or EAST coast will depend on when you get your parts. WEST usually 3-4 days, EAST 4-5 days. Inland away from the rest of the world is usually 6-8 days, and Canada is 4-6 days. Thanks it was a pleasure.

They havent left Japan according the the tracking I assume because of the TYPHOON--We are checking

OK for a recap- I didnt have them in stock on the 4th, I said I ordered 20 sets then, and I hope I can get them by the 8th before Mazda Part centers go on vacation. I did just barely get them in time and picked them up packed them and shipped them all on the same day which was the 7th since we got a little lucky, because they are CLOSED the 8th. So its been only 1 day.

Nothing I can do or say when someone else has them in stock, some times they are some times they arent, just depends on what it is.

I know a few more companies put up the clear markers and prices I think after me, and they dont have them in stock either due to the Japanese HOLIDAY and the TYPHOON thats blowing down my house now hehe
