Cheapest Site to get Japan Made Bodykits?

I'm looking for a couple kits - either the Weber Sports kit or the AutoEXE kit (see attached) and I've checked around. Mazdatrix, Mazmart, Rotary Resurrection, Racing Beat - none of them have it available. I'm located in Buffalo NY so shipping from Japanparts is ludicrously expensive - usually 1.5-2x the price of the actual part itself. Anyone have any suggestions on places to get these items? I know Andy's Auto Sport carries some kits but I had a bad experience with them in the past and am reluctant to shop there - also, I've kinda got my heart set on these two.

Please throw any and all suggestions my way!

I agree with you on the expense and I really like the AutoCraft kit as well. I have also had a bad experience with Andy's AutoSport. Not sure if you can find any of those kits in a replica version on EBay...but that might be the next best option.

Pretty much any authentic Japanese kit is going to run you about 1k for the front bumper and rear bumper (seperatly)

there are reps all over ebay and stuff but you gotta know what you're doing when your installing them or else you be even worse off.

andys auto sport has alot of the rep bumpers available but you can check out

yahoo auctions japan
or rhdjapan for authentic stuff just be prepared to spend on that shipping haha.

Hey Espo, doing the same research myself, but I have an S2, and is even worse for me than for you, I might end up buying a (uhgg) Duraflex (I know, I know cheap crap) and have my buddy try to do some magic to make sure it fits ok and looks good, maybe spend more time an effort than what it's worth, but I can't see spending 3 grand on front and rear bumpers, I might end up buying an R3 kit and modifying it to my linking, I hate our front plastic grill. BTW, I'm in WNY too, hopefully after this cold snap we are going to get this week, the weather will turn for the better and stay that way and I can get her out again. One can dream.

I'm fine with replica kits. I'm pretty handy with fitment and such and I also have a body guy I can work with. Thanks for the help - I'll look into both.

Drive her year round man, the snow is the most fun you can have outside of track and autocross! Unfortunately though mine's got the rust to show it. Doing a restoration this year. My last option is the Duraflex competition bumper but I'd rather not go that route.

Excellent choice in exhaust btw - same setup myself.

I have the weber sports rear bumber. I am willing to sell it just because i feel like it doesnt go with the rest of my kit. (If you are interested of course)

I have bought from japanparts.com and other sites arent very different in pricing. For everything i bought i spent about 6000$ off the SITE alone and about 800 for US Customs. Yeah sucks but I got it and im happy. I might go with an r magic rear diffuser now

I say do it. A slightly modified R3 bumper looks better than any other offering IMO. Not to mention OEM fitment.

Autocraft, Knightsports and Autoexe make nice bumpers too.

Rust is the main reason mine is in the garage right now, I'll drive the beater for a couple more months.

I agree, that circle has to go, if I go the route of the R3 I'll have to shave that off and debadge. Haven't decided yet, got a couple of months before I get to drive her again.

I like having the front emblem. It's too plain without it.
