The picture of the backside of the part shows you that this is TrueMold carbon fiber and not a Wet-Layup over fiberglass ..

If it was a Wet-Layup you would see chopped fiberglass, smooth fiberglass, or just plastic

I have seen a couple of RX-8 covers out there that are the original plastic piece covered in Carbon fiber !!! YUCK !!!



Unlike some others sold on market, this IPT product is TrueMold carbon fiber. It contains thermoset resin so it will hold up to heat and will not yellow.

THERE IS NO CLEARCOAT ON THIS PART

that is a very big difference in quality

just asking... is there a point to the cover besides looks... but any wayz that looks nice
