Carbon Fiber MS B-Pillar on Silver 8?

Has anyone installed the mazdaspeed carbon fiber B-Pillar on a silver 8 with dark tint? I am thinking about doing this but I am going back and forth on whether or not I should.

I have 13% tint on all windows and I am afraid that the carbon fiber B-Pillar will break up the beautiful dark look from front to rear. I have seen cortc's car in person and it looks great on his car but his 8 is black with no tint.

If anyone has done this, can they please post pics or respond with a link to pics?

If this has not been done then maybe one of the Photoshop guru's can help me out on this.

What do you guys think I should do? Yeh or nay?

Thanks guys!

Sweet! :D

Thanks for the pics Preacher. Your car looks great.

However, it doesn't look like you have tint on your windows. Since my tint is so dark and actually blends in with my black B-Pillar I am afraid the carbon fiber B-Pillar will break up the smooth dark look from front window to rear window.

I really appreciate you taking those pics for me though. Carbon Fiber B-Pillars look awesome on titanium.

Yup,I've got titanium tint max'd to state tolerances,I believe it's 50%....but the pics are in a garage w soft lighting,so the tint looks lighter than it is....and compared to,say,Florida,it IS much lighter....in FL I used to run double-limo :D

Yeah, it is brutal in FL without tint. My tint is illegal in FL but I have not had a problem with the police.

Dark tint makes such a difference in the summertime when you get into the car.

Krayzie8,

What type of B-Pillar covers did you have? Why did you remove them if you thought they looked good?

Thx

I did not know the stock B-Pillars were just a sticker. Can you post a pic of what your car looks like with the silver there?

Does anyone have a "piano finishing" b-pillar cover photo. I just loved the one in Carzoomer site.
But my glass is not tinted (and I'm not thinking about doing that), so I was concerned that it wouldn't make to much of a splash after all... So I'd like to see that installed to have an idea.
Well, actually after I saw the piano finishing photo I got to think that the "rough" original cover is somehow out of place...
How didn't I noticed that before???
