i like it, it looks good and I think itll come out nice for anyone who really wants a nice aggressive kit.

bumblebeerx8 01-31-2010 10:37 AM

^^^ that is sounding good. i may have to wait until they release it. hope they dont ruin it with the rear bumper and the exhaust shrouds are open at the bottom. also its kinda cool the wind tunnel their designs

Wow this is look like a great kit! now its time to donate blood plasma to get money to buy the kit

bumblebeerx8 01-31-2010 09:43 PM

looks good wish the exhaust was open on the bottom though.

SayNoToPistons 01-31-2010 09:51 PM

C-West put most of their products through wind tunnel testing. I wonder if they will do the same for the RX8 kit and what improvements we will be seeing.

Rotr8 01-31-2010 10:10 PM

hmmm its hard to tell, might be too busy...

All the C-West kits are developed in the wind tunnel and tested at air speeds of 30m/s to 40m/s which would equate to a road speed of approximately 90mph.

The kit is still in development, and there will most likely be 2 version's of it. Similiar in design, but a little different. I would wait until the car is fully complete, painted, modifications added on, such as wheels, hood, etc.

hmmm, i'm in the market for side skirts and a rear bumper, i'll have to see how this turns out when its all finished

c0ldf1ame 02-01-2010 12:37 AM

looks like signiture c-west design,

StealthFox 02-01-2010 03:32 AM

i guess no one mentioned it looks like the rx-7 bumper lol but its cool. i wouldnt rock it but someone sure will.

ЯX-8 02-01-2010 04:32 AM

^^ As Rotr8 & c0ldf1ame had stated, it's the signature design of C-West and it looks like the way a C-West body kit would look like.. So, basically all their kits look the same in design, but it looks pretty damn good on the RX-8!

ЯX-8 02-01-2010 07:06 PM

Here's a rear side shot..

Wannabe F&F fanbois around the world must be rejoicing

speaking of retarded, pot meet kettle

mscamp02 02-01-2010 08:06 PM

Theres a lot going on in this kit but I think I kinda like it

Atilla 02-01-2010 08:50 PM

rear diffuser?? yes...no??

Ross_Dawg 02-01-2010 09:08 PM

Hate it. Way too busy for my tastes.

chrism 02-02-2010 05:57 AM

im a fan....but then again i love the veilside too

kersh4w 02-02-2010 12:15 PM

from the side, the rear looks VERY similar to buddy club. they just added the vent.

Vlaze 02-02-2010 12:48 PM

I like the looks of the Odula kit. It doesn't look riced out and is more from a functional standpoint IMO where the vents are. Wonder if there's any legit sites to pick up such a kit, couldn't find any decent ones on google.

As for the C-west kit I think it also looks good. The additional pockets on the front work well for fitting in a fog lamp and the vents are in good places, not sure why it looks too busy contrast to some that just have a crap load of vents everywhere like R-Magic's front end.

Meh to each their own.

bumblebeerx8 02-02-2010 01:53 PM

It will be nice if they have a diffuser in the rear

You could most likely order it through Japanparts, Yuki is known for seeking out kits or parts that arent listed on thier site,,,

There are several bumpers that would be very nice if they had a rear diffuser, we'll see cant make a judgement call until I see the entire thing glassed and painted,,,

White_Shadows 02-02-2010 04:27 PM

The more and more I see the more and more I am thinking stock is the way I will stay. Every kit I like seems to cost more than the car or I would have to have repaired every week because its not the right material.
As already said it looks a bit to busy on the front for me.

SiLVeRE8 02-02-2010 06:29 PM

Im actually liking the front a lot

ЯX-8 02-03-2010 04:24 AM
