17% is pretty dark.. Post some pic's when you have them installed.. That auction didn't show how they looked like..

I haven't heard of anyone picking these up. Let us know how it goes. I'd like to see how the smoked tail lights turn out.

I got the taillight version and they didnt even come close to fitting. Maybe my batch was bad but personally I would never do it again.

i got the fronts from laminx...they look great..when the headlights are turned on they darken the emmited lght just a little bit, not too bad

i tried out the laminx tail light film and was really disappointed. they were kinda hard to work with and just didnt fit all that well. but it didnt really matter because when i had them on i got rearended and i just threw it out with the broken taillight

yes i agree they are a bitch to put on but with a good xacto, a hot blow dryer, some patience, and a nice sunny day, it will work fine.

ac3mastuh 02-07-2007 09:05 PM

are there any shops that can do it for you?

or maybe deedubb wants to make some cash on the side by putting them on for everyone!

I just have the clear film to protect my fogs and headlights from Headlight Armour. The fit was excellent, no cutting or trimming required. I went with this brand on recommendation from my brothers who put a set on their cars (a 350z and Scion Xa) both of their kits fit perfect too so I did my car and my wifes Element. Every kit we've gotten was a perfect fit.

I can smoke out tail lights with quality paint and clear coat, not that cheap stuff you buy on ebay. PM me for a price quote

I wish I caught that site before, but lets see how the ones I purchased come out.
