Bodykit MS/mazda factory

Good morning RX8club ( my first post here ! ) !

So, first i'm not english, so i'll pray for your eyes and concentrate on my chosen words, i wouldn't be the reason of their sudden blindness ! :eyetwitch

I'm coming here to ask your advice about a choice i'll have to do soon, i would like to install a MS body kit including lateral skirts, rear bumper and rear wing on my beloved lil' 8. Ok... Yep i didn't talked about the front bumper. Cause if i put it on my car, i'll just be unable to park my cark in her underground parking cause of the descent in the entry ( sorry i can't explain it in english but lowered cars most of time can't go in the parking in my building, and i'm waiting for coilovers soon... + the front bumper, there's no way to park her in. ) ... This is just impossible, and i can't let her in the street, this would be suicide.

Then i've thinked to a solution to have a well balanced look on my car while still being able to park my car in her place, to include a mazda factory front air dam, i think that's the name, giving a little better look on the front but not too much low, then i can bring her to her place when i come back into my home...

What do you think of it ? Have you ever seen any 8 with that sort of bodykit's ? Should i just buy a normal mazda factory full kit cause the MS and the front air dam won't be nice together on the same car ... ?

Would you any pic if you know a car like that or approaching ? Thx a lot ! See ya later around here i hope ! :)

if you put coilovers on your car, your front will scrape anyways.

I have tien S-tech springs on mine and nothing on my front bumper, not even an airdam and I scrape sometimes on steep decents.

Awww... this is what i call a bad new. :|

"edit ok nothing, S tech are the lowering springs, sorry..."

Damned, if a stock front bump allready scratchs anything with coil overs... I can forget the whole bodykit. :banghead:

Then... Do u think a lowered, with painted stock front and rear bumpers and a MS rear wing with withe OZ 18" Alleggerita wheels would be nice ... ? That's my only "service exit..." if i can't put any bodykit, i don't like unpainted bumpers... And i'm addicted to the rear MS wing. :(

Hmm, if u don't know those wheels : http://www.ozracing.fr/webimgoz6/200...HITE_A.eps.jpg Pretty like and cool looking i finid.

Hey! Welcome to the club :)

The Mazda front appearance lip doesn't make your front bumper any lower, so feel free to get springs, just make sure you approach the decent at an angle.

The Mazdaspeed sides and rear look great with the OEM appearance front lip. However, the sideskirts are just a tad lower than the front lip. So if that's something you can live with, then by all means get the kit.

What color is your 8? White wheels only look good on certain colors, so that's why I'm asking...

Perhaps you could go down in reverse? :dunno:

Leandrys 01-28-2009 05:32 AM

I wish i could, but there's really no way. ;)

I didn't notice sideskirts were so much lower compared to the front lip, hmmm, guess i'll have to think more about it and watch more pics.

Ty guys !:)

@ Ross Dawg, sorry i didn't read your post till the end, my 8 is a Velocity red 231, most of time on red cars, i like white wheels, so i told myself this could be nice... but there's not a lot of red 8 with white wheels, well at least in Europe i mean, i don't know in U.S. . :)
