Black Rims
1 Attachment(s)
so i painted a spare rim that i had black...i basically sanded, used primer, then painted it with duplicolor high heat engine paint( low gloss black)...this is the pic before clear coat....i'm wondering if i should just leave it with out clear coat.....note(clear coat makes it a little glossy) or use clear coat?
|
I used 3-4 layers of matte clear coat.
|
I'd say go for the glossy
|
thanks guys!!!!...goin for the clear coat...i will post pics of the ride soon

go ahead and paint the inside of the barrell too, looks kinda funny with the face being black and the inside of the rim being silver

Once install, you would not see any different. Our 8 is lower than other car so it is quite dark behind the rims. |
looks very nice. how long did it take you to paint them?

I just leave it that way. I'm lazy to paint whole thing.
