Best way to remove mazda emblems?
I want to remove my front mazda emblem but don't want to scratch the paint. Anyone got any good tips?

Heat gun and fishing line.

Thanks ill give it a try

I've known people to get good results using a hair dryer or heat gun to help loosen the adhesive, and then dental floss or fishing line for removal. When using a heat gun, be careful not to overheat the paint.
|
Also keep in mind that there are holes in the trunk so if you want to debadge the car you must fill them up and repaint the area.
|
Dont forget Goo gone or WD40 to get rid of the dried on adhesive from the emblems.

I recently debadged my rx8 and the I took it to a body shop for a quote to fill in trunk and front bumper holes+sand a repaint he is asking for a little over $400 I am just scratching the surface in automotive stuff you think this is a reasonable price?

Maybe, but get some more estimates and see if you could find a lower price than that, good luck.
