Authentic MS kit in 2012?
I guess I waited too long. I have a MS front bumper but now want the side and rear but mazda-parts.com is out of stock. Andysautosport.com has the kit listed, but I'm not sure if they actually have the kit in stock. Is anyone aware of any other vendors that still have this kit?

Call you local mazda dealership. They me be able to get what you need through the dealer network.
That's a very good suggestion, thank you.
No Problem. Might be a little bit pricey going that route, but you might run into that wherever you find it.
not all mazda dealers can sell ms parts
ahhh the MS bumper is becoming extinct !!!! I wish i had one :(
Corksport has their replica version on sale right now. It is 25% off. They only sell the front bumper though.
mazdaspeed still has inventory of parts, so you should be ok getting them through a dealer. mostly primered parts only though, not pre-painted
how does that corksport bumper fit? most replicas need a TON of work to fit properly
I'm looking in eBay for the MS front bumper It may not but I'm sure my buddy can make it look close to purfect. Do you think is worth getting the eBay ones, the look pretty good?
It really depends on exactly what your getting. The replicas are usually cheap, but needs modifications to fit. The authentic ones are expensive, but its hard to find nowadays, specially they are not making it anymore.
I already have the front bumper in WB that I bought from a member here, but I haven't been able to track down the sides and rear. I really don't mind paying more going through a dealership. I want the OEM parts and I don't really care what it costs. I have a good relationship with the dealership I bought the car from so hopefully they can track those parts down from me. Maybe the promise of purchasing a Mazda 2 from them for my wife will make them work harder lol.
As far as ebay stuff, when it comes to cars you get what you pay for. You can get replica parts, but expect to additional costs in fitting and reinforcement. |
Δ I don't mind the fitting and extra work I can make it work painted and evrything for half the cost. I would love OEM but I can buy more things for my Rx8 that way. Good luck

No idea on fitment. I have only see the bumper on their car and it looks good. I did not notice any fitment issues. I have read others have said fitment was really good but then you never know until you get mounted. CS is known for excellent quality and customer service and they really care about producing quality products. If I were to be buy a replica MS bumper then they are the only place I'd buy from. The fact it is on sale right now is just a bonus.

it's their demo car, obviously they will make it look good. I do not know any replica will fit the car 100% without any modification. Not even JDM bumpers like FEED/KnightSports fit 100%.
honestly, fitment is only a minor consideration. who cares how it fits when it's going to look like crap in 2 years, unless it's some show car garage queen?
take it from someone who's owned both. go with the real deal |
Man if I could afford the real deal I would.. but what's up with the ones in eBay not the fiberglass one.? They.A bit more
Did you try Mazdatrix or onlinemazdaparts.com?
^ yea mazda trix is pricy to but once i get all i need first then ill decide what im doing thans
Dick, contact Capitol mazda in san jose. I had them track down a full MS kit for me a few months ago. The parts guy I used has since moved over to a toyota dealership so hopefully the new guy knows what he's doing.
Thanks for the tip Matt, I'll give them a call.
I've been looking at this for a while, but not sure if it's the real deal or not.

Looks like it's real...
Jesus, $175.00 shipping? I could ship an engine for less than that.
