short and simple, wanted to find a cheaper alternative that still worked well over time, and after a few different purchased found some good ones, cheap too :) i have the 194's both inside and outside the car and i love them! the fogs aren't super bright, then again i still have the reflectors on and you dont need super bright fogs either so im happy with them.
if you want some before shots, use google to find examples. im only going to put one of before pic 1 is unboxing and bulb appearance pics 2&3 are fogs and 194 bulbs in park and corners with factory hid's (4300k?) pic 4 is 194 in license plate bulb location pic 5 is factory front here are the fogs http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/?cmd=...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT here are the 194's http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/?cmd=...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT excuse the picture quality, they were taken with my phone. and yes i know, i need to swap the factory temp hid's for 6000k so everything matches and remove the fog reflectors. im working on it. opinions are welcomed |
Those fog lights appear to be significantly less bright than the factory bulbs.
This is the general problem with most LED bulb replacements, especially with the cheap ones. |

This is the general problem with most LED bulb replacements, especially with the cheap ones. Fogs arent supposed to be extremely bright anyways, so I'm okay with it. Additionally, the "factory" picture (and only picture of the five for that matter) was taken with my old phone which had a much better camera, which picked up on lighting much better (current phone camera is crap, especially as my old phone had a 8 megapixel cybershot camera) |
Damn...those are cheap. Nice find.

Just ordered three sets of the 194's. Wasn't convinced on the brightness of the fogs though. :/
Are you still enjoying these or have you noticed any issues/burn outs? |
Quick info about these cheap LED fog lights.
they're not sealed, they're a multi piece design and not put together well. Water leaks into them eventually. You'll get water into your fog light housings and that will rust as well. If you plan to use them, seal it all around with silicon RTV or something similar and double O-ring it. I do have these in my SUV and still working for the last 2 years after sealing. 1st batch blew in 4 months and rusted the insides. |

Are you still enjoying these or have you noticed any issues/burn outs? the 194's are still burning just as bright and strong as the day i first got them, no burn outs either. |
