Trouble Codes from COBB!

I know I'm being annoying posting so much on the EMS forum, please forgive my lack of knowledge.

I just installed an Agency Power underdrive pulley and a COBB Access tuning port.

I'm getting the following trouble codes:

P0039
P0300
U1900

Question is...should I panic? Is my car about to explode? Or is this normal? Thanks for any and all input.

rotarygod 01-16-2009 04:13 PM

P0039: Danger to manifold
P0300: Floorpan structural failure
U1900: Oh shit...

rotarygod 01-16-2009 04:13 PM

j/k ;)

Jedi54 01-16-2009 04:15 PM

P0039: not sure what that is

P0300 Random misfire detected Flash/ON 1 or 2 Misfire ´ (See DTC
P0300 )

U1900 = random AP code, don't panic.

I'll block P0039 and U1900 (or try to). P0300...hmm. I'll check to see if I moved something trying to tighten the bolts on that bloody pulley...

my light went off cause I didn't properly measure the deflection of the belt when I did my pulley kit... you might want to check it again.

really,

you believe that? you think somehow the ecu knows the deflection of your pulley belt?

how about you did not reset the kam. as you changed the pulley..

The misfire is due to you needing to reset the e-shaft position sensor after installing the pulley. Switch the car to "on" and press the brake pedal 20 times or until you see the oil pressure gauge go to halfway and then fall.

Once done, you can start the car and shouldn't experience anymore misfires.

Flashwing! Your brilliant, that worked like a charm. I had a feeling it was the AP Pulley. And Jedi thanks for the update on the 2 random trouble codes. Since I reset the ECU havn't had a single light flash. Thanks guys.

Once again....11,600 posts, MAAAAYBE a few of them wasted....lol
