New Series I Tune Published for VersaTuner

We have converted our S2 performance tune to S1. Gains should be similar. On a S2 with a high flow cat and a K&N filter, we got a 16 HP gain. To access the new tune, just go to the Tunes tab in VersaTuner and it will be there in the online tunes list at the top of the page. Simply click the green arrow and flash it or download it to your local tune database to edit it.

Interesting.
I don't know if I'll put it on my car but I'd definitely be interested in looking at it.

just purchased versatuner over the weekend. i'll try performance map as a base map. my car has 3" header back exhaust with test pipe and mazdaspeed intake.

just poking around the software, i did not see where to disable the secondary air pump and rear o2 sensor.

You can choose which DTCs are masked after you connect the software to the car and identify the car. There will be a Tune Customizer button on the home tab in VersaTuner. You can also access the Tune Customizer in the tune flashing wizard.

was able to get the car on the dyno tonight and ran stock map then loaded the VS performance tune map. car is 06 with 75k miles. mazdaspeed intake and 3" header back exhaust. 93 pump gas with premix. didn't have time to fine tune the map. just wanted to make sure everything as safe enough for track this weekend, then will try to fine tune it next week.

With two samples, I'm going to say that improvement isn't statistically significant.

Think about how the car ran hotter during the tune run and how the power should have dropped, but it actually went up. That tells you that the gains are likely higher than what the dyno shows, based on the trend.
