Mawnee's Turbo tune

Finally got around to finishing up some needed mods so that I can progress on my car. All thats left now is to get my tune in shape and get it back on the dyno to see how deep into the 300s I can get. Last time was 302rwhp with an awful tune and poor setup. My maf scale was a mess causing me to be off the scale rich and pull a ton of timing due to miscalculating the load. I also didnt have my wastgate and boost controller setup properly giving me a terrible boost profile of 7-11.5psi(boost not peaking until well after HP peak). I expect much better things this time around. :D:

I've gotten my maf/injector scales back in shape and the car is doing what I tell it to (hitting target AFRs within .1 or so) without skewing the load calculations. Cruise and idle are smooth with very little stalling(BoV is VTA). Throttle response is good, though its not standing up quite as fast as I'd like below 4500rpm.
Wastegate and Boost controller are setup well. I can run a flat boost level above 4500rpm be it 8,10,12 or ..15psi :naughty:

Here are some pics of my current Air/fuel and timing maps. My VE table is a flat 1 across the board for now. CL tables are basicly stock, I just lowered the CL exit RPM to 4000. Any input on how to make improvements would be appreciated! I'm more of a "Fishing tipz plz?" guy than a "I can haz fish?" guy so any explination to go with the advice is greatly appreciated :)

-Edit- I have updated my fuel map a bit. I smoothed out the mid load/rpm area. It seems to have helped spool up a bit since it isnt going as rich before boost comes up.

I'd be happy to help wherever I can :) But honestly I'm still not very good at this. Its been lots of trial and error to figure things out with a ton of guidance from the guys on the forums. I'm sure some of the better tuners would still find a hundred things wrong with my tune.

Interesting that you have different load scales for ignition and fuel . Did you set that up yourself or is that how MM suggests it is done ?

I did the fuel scales by even increments so I could more easily visualize load vs psi when looking at the fuel. The timing I left more resolution to the scales down low to help fine tune cruising and transition(I think it was recommended by MM). :)

The tables look pretty good. Which load columns are you falling into at these various boost levels?

If it were my car, I'd get on a dyno experimenting with the trailing timing. Retard trailing/increase split a couple degrees in columns over 1.00 , up to 15 split. See how much power you lose. If it's only a few hp I'd run more conservative trailing timing.

10psi ~160
12psi ~170
14psi~ 185+

I just had it on the dyno on Saturday. For some reason on the dyno it ran over a full point leaner and I couldnt get any full pulls. I am working on tracking down the source of this inconsistencey between the street and the dyno.
