I Need A Tuner!!

Hi, I live in north central Indiana and I am looking for a place to take my RX8 to get it properly tuned. The only modifications I've made are new cold air intake, header, and exhaust. I'm not sure if there is something I need to do prior to taking it to a shop? I have purchased a Hypertech programmer which helped with my idling problem; however, I still feel there is more horsepower to be gained. Does anyone know of a shop in my area or even within 100-200 miles? I am looking for someone with good experience and a lot of knowledge with the RX8 engine. Thanks.

It did? Hmm. That isn't one of the Hypertech Max Energy Sport Power Programmer's "listed features".
For $512, they do offer all of this:

  • Cooling Fans Stock, 180 degrees F, 195 degrees F
  • Rev Limit -500 to +500 RPM
  • DTCs Read and Clear
  • Return Back To Stock
  • Internet Updateable

I visited the Hypertech booth at SEMA last year. They were in the front of central hall along with the companies that make beaded seat covers, those gadgets that you drop into your fuel tank to "oxygenate" the fuel for massive increases in torque and economy and the "Turbonator".

I don't know where these scams get their start-up capital from, but I want in.
