Factory Thermofan on/off Temperatures

I'm curious if anyone can tell me what the factory setting is for the temp cycle for the fans. I feel like I keep setting it too low on my haltech and the fan is just never turning off. I've gone through the FSM but it only references checking fan failure looking for a signal from the ecu, not an operating temp. I would assume I am running a factory thermostat, I have not had it out. Hoping someone with mazdaedit or a cobb-maybe? can enlighten me.

Cheers

New Zealand factory settings:
Fan 1 Temp A, 97C
Fan 1 Temp B, 97C
Fan 2 Vehicle Speed, 10kph
Fan 2 Temp, 101C

I live in an area that sees a max of about 26C in summer. I use the following settings and it keeps things really cool without seeming to over-run the fans. My car came with 1 oil cooler, but I added a second one around the time I put the turbo on. It made a big difference, and temps are manageable for "spirited" driving.
Fan 1 Temp A, 91C
Fan 1 Temp B, 91C
Fan 2 Vehicle Speed, 10kph
Fan 2 Temp, 95C

JimmyBlack ....I know you are a family man and wouldn't dream of ever doing burnouts(cough) . But if you knew someone who did , they should set the 'vehicle speed' setting to 200km/hr ;)

Hot tip!

Thank you so much I think I had mine set to come on at 88 off at 84. Figured best to be conservative. I have the factory dual oil coolers They seem to be doing alright keeping up with the oil cooled turbo I'm using. Running 10w40 as well.

Unfortunately the factory abs module doesn't talk to the haltech so I don't have any way of doing speed sensing. Am I right to think that just disables the second fan over that speed? Or both fans?

Is Temp A the on, and Temp B the off?

In the setup for the ecu I have fan on above value and a fan off below value.

.

Just the high speed is disabled over the speed setting . Low speed will still be on . Both fans are on ................ either high or low speed.

There are three relays . I think it is possible to have three settings .... both fans slow, one fast one slow , both fast . looking at the wiring diagram . But with a and b set at same temp there are only two settings. That's how I see it anyway.

I need to start leaving notes for myself when I do wiring because I totally remember struggling with the 3 relays. I think I ended up wiring the first fan to my Fan1 output and the high speed setting to my Fan 2 output.

It's similar to the stupid 2 stage fuel pump relay that I had to simplify.

Thanks again eh
