Hello, I read a lot of thread in this section and I'm almost ready to jump into the world of ECU calibration but I have no base, than I want to know, with hymee or cobb, can I download pretuned ECU version or I need to make mine ???

I have find on http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/mazda/RX-8Maps.html a map database but all versions are 1.0, they never doing update ??

Yes, the Cobb AP automatically stores your current Mazda flash in the event you need to disassociate the tuner in the future and return to same.

You can then install any number of pre-configured or customized tunes.

The Cobb AP comes with (or downloadable from their 'site) a number of tunes, including their "stage 1" which is a pretty good N/A tune. But MazdaManiac's customized tunes are superior, which is why many of us buy the Cobb through him.

edit: here's the info on the Cobb "stage 1" NA tune (but again I prefer the MazdaManiac custom tune service since it is based on your specific '8).
