E-manage tuning?????

Ok I did a search and came up with a great thread, but I could not bring up th attchments, I am looking for information on tuning the E-manage on a N/A car. Does anyone have any info on this or know where it can be found

tuning in a jiffy... brought to you by the good folks at r0tor....

step 1: With the unit turned off, log the afr vs rpm...

step 2: Take an example map, and make up a conservative best guess map. Log afr vs rpm...

let...
x = the new map value
afr = your desired afr
oldafr = afr from best guess map
oldemanage = the map setting on your best guess map
stockafr = stock afr

for each rpm value in your map...

x = (afr - stockafr)*oldemanage/(oldafr - stockafr)

so... if at 8000 rpms, my car was stock at 12.6afr and with an emanage setting of 14 i was running at 13.05afr with a target of 13.5...

x = (13.5 - 12.6)*14/(13.05 - 12.6)
x= 28

now plug 28 into your map at 8,000 rpms, repeat for each other cell (staying above 5500rpms), relog afr vs rpms and behold the magic of linear interpolation

Now this Is what I need

it works 90% of the time pretty well, just use your judgement if something looks really wacky

Thank you, I am reusing an e-manage off a turbo car, next question " is the connecting harness the same for N/A car?" I promise when I done I will make a nice organized post about the install with pics.

Remember that the CZ version uses positive numbers to take away fuel, and the GReddy version uses negative numbers to take away fuel.

I found some great info at www.emanageforums.com

Just curious, is everyone using this technique to figure out the new values in the maps?
I mean, this seems very complicated to do and there should be a faster way doing this.
