Cobb ap atr help
 

So I just bought my Cobb AP and learning how to tune thanks to kanes tuning help. However does anyone know how to hook up the version 2b Cobb ap to the cars ecu through a laptop with access tuner race since I tried using 2 wires and keep getting an error saying cant connect or nothing found type bs.

As far as I know you can only do this with the first version of the Cobb AP.
The first version came with this big dongle ass thing.

It's mostly eye candy anyway.
ATR may offer perhaps maybe a bit better logging resolution maybe.

Either way you need to review the log file to analyze and make adjustments somewhere then reload the map.
There is no LIVE tuning on the RX8 stock ecu

Wcs is right. I got mine working the other day but via the dongle from the first access port I got from Cobb. That dongle has it's own driver. You can't live tune but you can do live tracing and data logging.

It's completely unnecessary
