Any Canzoomer owner...still?

Wanted to start learning on tuning myself and look around for a bargain to start off. And I found CZ, which is really a good bargain to start with.

But realized that it's no longer for sale nor any kind of support. So, was trying to find out is there still any CZ owner out there still using it? Any tips for share?

Thanks:)

It's basically an E-manage Blue....you can tune if you stay in open loop areas and reset your ECU a lot to get rid of fuel trims

There were some problems..but a lot of us learned a lot about the engine playing with them

So I can just upgrade the CZ to newer version from Trust e-Manage Blue (1.49 now)? And use the e-Manage Blue software to start the tuning?

did the previous owner tell you anything about any "improvements" they might have made?

The way the original units were setup, the rpm scale was 2x and the fuel adjustments were made in the opposite direction that one might expect. For awhile some owners made "improvements' to change these things - which if left undocumented will frustrate the hell out of a new owner.

tune abouve 6,000 rpms and >80% throttle and you will have no problems with fuel trims and the thing will work fine

Ok, will keep this in mind. I'll only touch the map for above 6k rpm and >80% throttle. Since renesis only makes power at high rpms...

But yet, any CZ owner still using this CZ on their 8?

just realized that the cz unit i'm getting is a Level 1 unit.

Anyone know how to upgrade it to Level 1.1 as canzoomer.com no longer exist.

Or Level 1 unit will work just fine??? Just plan to tune AFR only.

There is a single very long thread that talks about all of this. I believe the level 1.1 upgrade was just fixing the things mentioned above, the 2x RPM scale and whatnot. I remember some sort of soldering you could do to fix it yourself, but you'll have to search for that. Just keep in mind, it's good for learning, but there are way, way better options if you're looking to get more power from the car without a big hassle. The CZ was theoretically supposed to work right out of the box to fix the original super-rich factory tunes, but subsequent flashes basically took care of that.

Look on that thread I mentioned, people have posted old modest CZ tunes, that would be a good place to start from...

who still has the software for CZ?
thanks a lot in advanced :)
