Hi. I was planning on painting my calipers on Monday. Do you paint the whole caliper except for the piston, or just the outside? How does it hold up? I'm not painting the brackets, just the calipers.

Thanks,

Chad

Painting calipers is for appearance so you don't see rusty parts through your wheels.

I only paint the parts I see, including the rotor hubs.
Painting the calipers and not the brackets is silly, it'll look like crap.

Do you paint the whole caliper, including the inside where the brakes go? I'm not sure because I don't want mechanical problems.

Thanks,

Chad

Yeah, sorry. What I really meant is the inside of the brake caliper too. So, not just the outside, but where the pads and rotor go.
I'm doing them now. It's taking forever to dry, and I'm only one my first one. Been 2 hours. lol
