DIY: Blitz SUS power intake

3 Attachment(s)
Start out by removing your OEM intake box.

1.
- undo clip(as depicted in red circle)
- push intake box directly backwards to undo 2 pop tabs which are in the front of the box assembly
- once the front two tabs are out, push the intake box assembly slightly to the back and pull upwards to undo 2 pop tabs which are underneath the box assembly
- loosen the clamp on the end of the throttle body which holds on to the MAF tube/intake box assembly

VOILA OEM intake box is out.

2.
- unscrew MAF sensor module from OEM MAF tube
DISCLAIMER : MAF sensor breaks really easily, it is very fragile and costs a fortune to replace.... so BECAREFUL!!!
- screw MAF sensor onto Blitz SUS power intake tube

3.
- use zip ties(provided by Blitz along with the intake kit) to fasten the two parts as circled in the attached picture to the tube as pointed in the attached picture

You could leave them dangling if you like but they are awefully close to the pulley system so i wouldnt recommend it :)

- foam pieces come pre-slitted so they just go over the edges of the box and clips on

6.
-simply assemble the intake box by screwing in the two sidewalls

Is it a full system or just a "tube and filter" design?

I was wondering if it replaced the upper rubber intake boot. I looked at the pics again and answer my question. nice job very well done. just don't know if I am ready to part with $435 for it.

Hey is the cover included? I don't see any cover like HKS or K&N alike. U might want to add more tapes to cover the gap of the pipe, it will avoid the heat to sneak in through.

Reply me the cover thx.

Apologies for the thread ressurection :)

Does anyone know what the parts circled in red are and whether they are needed once the stock air box has been removed?
