Yet another intake Takeda sr intake
Personally it looks like the fail V1 version of the K&N intake, but at least they put it on a dyno...with a quick suspicions glimpse of a dyno sheet and an alleged 7whp +8lbs ft tq. Here's the video,
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...zda_681025.htm sells for about $288, im not going to buy this. Im a happy aem owner. :) |
ehh just another intake, and just another dumb gain claim
|
This is the K&N v1. I know this thing like the back of my hands. This intake is the same horrible design. The plastic blocks the "proper" airflow from the VFAD. It sucks in the hot engine air. Piece of crap

and it was done in 3rd gear
you're supposed to be hypnotized by the spinning wheel pattern on the dyno .... :eyetwitch |
was that an automatic? they didn't even show the entire dyno sheet so you cannot even verify the hp/tq gains
:bsflag: |
it was a manual the autos redline at 7500

Notice the difference between MT and AT? (Besides the fake 9k redline) |
There's an ad for this intake in the newest Modified Mag. They're claiming it replaces the "bulky and inefficient factory intake." I have a lot of respect for Modified, so I'm hoping they just copy/pasted this description. They really need to do their homework before advertising stuff though.
