Mazdaspeed! With the CAI and the sport exhaust together it is pure sex! Look online at Rosenthals. He is a vendor here.

This is uncalled for. Sure a search should have been done, thats how a arrived at my decisions but It took all of 2 seconds for me to offer my advice. Lets be gentlemen about this.

Stock is the best for the money.

Mods you may want to move this to the modifications/upgrades section where the OP could look to find the answers they seek.

Concur.

From my research the Mazda engineers pretty much got it right the first time. There's not much appreciable add'l horsepower to be garnered by anything less than a full FI mod.

Don't get me wrong, I mentally toy with these intake/exhaust/flywheel/etc. mod's as well, but at the end of the day I always realize it's a relatively minor return on investment.

I think it's more of the fact you posted in the wrong area. Your question doesn't really pertain to the Vendor forum you posted this under. One of the "Tech & Performance" forums would have suited better for this thread.

Take some time to reread the Rules of Conduct. Specifically:
10. Attacks on new forum members (or "Noobies") will not be tolerated. Remember we were all new to the forum once.

parfive, your welcome. This can be a great place to find info and ask questions. Don't let this descourage you too much! I have seen great information even from individuals who have high noob/flame comments in their post count. The first post can be a bit scary though. Good luck with your mods!

Don't sweat it parrfive. The "do a search..." types will be with us, always.

I'm always dumbfounded by people who would rather waste their time typing "search ...." than simply answering the question.

Personally, if there's a question I've answered a number of times, I simply don't post at all.

btw: that doesn't mean I'm necessarily against the "teach the man to fish" principal, but understand it's often daunting to newcomers.

Ya Parrfive... Dont hesitate to ask questions... My comment was directed toward those who would much rather be a jerk then answer the question... I feel like if your actually going to take the time to type something... Then just answer the question, rather then be a jerk... Now i do understand that a lot of new members don't read and search first, but it happens so deal with it... But you got pretty good answers from the start anyway.

I personally have the Mazdaspeed CAI and Dual sport exhaust and I love it... No i didn't gain a million HP but it sounds awesome. Which is really why i got it.

In theory no difference in exhaust sound given just adding the MS intake, but I'll leave it further to someone who might have such a setup.
