What do you do with replaced parts?

So what does everyone do with the OEM parts when you replace them, i.e. exhaust, rims/tires, winkers?

I've thought about a Borla or similar but what would I do with the OEM exhaust? I live in a apartment so I can't store it and who the heck would buy it or even take it?

Same thing with replacing the rims? What would I do with stock rims and/or tires?

It's bad enough I have computer parts laying in corners everywhere from computer mods, last thing I need to do is to find a place to put a muffler and pipes.

If you don't need it sell it! Unless you worry about that you will need to go back to stock form in the future; in which later you will need to buy it off someone. What go around come around that keep the trading business alive :p

You have 3 options:
1: Give them away to me :D
2: Sell them (eBay)
3: Hold on to them.

Check what the OEM parts cost from the dealer (eg, wheels cost in the neighborhood of $250 each) then sell your parts for 1/2 that on eBay, or in the For Sale forum on this board.

Back when I lived in Oz, our local Mazda Car Club had one stock RX-3 exhaust system which was available to anyone who needed to go back to stock for an EPA test or similar. The only price was that you had to store it until the next person needed it. :)

Oz = Australia, mate! :) I was an Air Force brat for the first 11 years of my life, moving around between England, Australia and Singapore, but after my Dad quit the RAF in 1969 we moved to Melbourne Australia, and I lived there until I moved to the US in 1998 to marry my wife (a native Texan). Though I hold both British and Australian citizenship, I consider myself an Australian first and foremost.

Ah, ok, well g'day Mate! I lived in Adelaide South Australia off and on when I was a lad, so I'm pretty familiar with the land Down Under, but I had not heard it refered to as Oz until lately. Thanks for enlightening me! :D

Keep your parts, its a good option just in case you get a ticket, or need to sell the car, whatever, its always good to have spare parts handy. I had mods of my previous vehicle and it was nice to swap exhausts when I was going to sell it.

I keep all stock parts.

I usually get a new car every year, and have to put all the stock stuff back on, so I can trade it in. All the aftermarket stuff, I just sell for hella cheap, cause it's used.

I have been lazy, and I have a lot of other stock car stuff in my garage. I've tried to give it away on other forums, and people are just too lazy!
