Upper intake manifold
2 Attachment(s)
I was bored at home looking at the intake manifold and trying to what a cnc machine could do to produce another one that is a larger in size to increase the flow when being turbed.
the manifold is two peices put together pretty much. Questions that i have in the second pic that i am pointing to are these plugs for emissions stuff. |
I would be interested in one just for the reason I hate the way the stock one looks.

Those are the solenoids for the VDI SSV and Air Pump
|
So they can be removed if Im not runing the air pump anymore.
|
One can..the other 2 are for the VDI and SSV...
If you are Turbo'd..you won't likely use the VDI one either...so you really only need one. I could be mounted anywhere really |
Ok thanks I not sure if this has been tried at all but I notice how thr manifold is two pecies put together, I know how how a cnc machine can make pecies so I was thinking by taking the manifold apart and have the two seperate pecies welded to make on to create. An alunium manifold with larger piping.

i think BHR is making one they had a prototype at the socal dyno day

Exactly, and we have no plans to market them as anything other than that.
