Canzoomer stage 2

Has anyone gotten the stage 2 CZ unit installed. How much hp increase did you get? Is it definitely not street legal? Will this void a warranty?

hey RM,
I ran the stage 2 for about 4 months with the M flash. I didnt dyno it but I estimated a 10-15 hp increase. It doesnt turn on till after closed loop is over. On some cars it does result in a very slight stutter at 4-5k under load and light throttle. It goes away with more throttle or more rpm. Thats the stock stage 2 map. The exhaust tips sure did run clean! The stage 2 map is still conservertive and it didnt hurt my cat. I dont have any emissions tests here in middle ga. I did have to run 93 octane with the map.
The cz will void a warrenty but it is a piggyback that can be easily removed in 10 mins, its invisable when you lift the hood and it would really be odd for a tech to find it.

Like the old fart said, hey what a minute - I'm an old fart also It all depends on what you want to do with your car. And with that said, what are your plans? Do you currently own an RX8? Stage 2 was a term for also replacing your midpipe/CAT, because it was a more agreessive map.

I'm running a modified stage2 if that is what you want to call it... But I am also still tuning :D

Hey nemesis. Yes, i do own a 6sp right now. I love ur NA mods btw. How much hp do you have with all those? My plans are to go NA as well because the car is a lease (well for at least another year and 3 months) and there is not way im putting FI in a lease. I dont have a lot of money to spend, but i want to squeeze everything out of this car that i can. How much did it cost you to put in all ur mods?

I would get the cat back exhaust (much better sound), super cat, air intake, then the Canzoomer piggyback unit at the end. Tune the CZ to run with all your mods in place. getting the Canzoomer first, then putting in the mods might not be the best idea as the other mods will change your car, and may make it too lean if you have already tuned it to run so.

StageII....

I am running 'Zoomers StageII, with an intake, hi-flowing cat, resonator and the Borla.

I will probably get it dynoed in the summer, (my son REALLY wants to see it on rollers!) I am 'feeling' maybe 15 WHP.

Tips still get grungy. (how many % of driving is open loop anyway?)

I'd guess the biggest benefit of the CZ is power 'under the curve' which can be harder to feel.

Sorry, I was sleeping. I'm really not sure yet. I know it's going to dyno large :D Even with my playing around with stage 2 maps, I have torque in the motor. It pushes me back in the seat and the chassis raises a bit. It's subtle, but it is there. I am having CZ tuning 101 brain cramps right now. I'm tempted to drive up and have Maurice tune this beast...

I'm not done yet...... This might come as a shock to RG and Charles, but I will be adding a....header to finish out my NA mods.

The only thing left is to go to the planet where the PCM/ECU robots came from and learn their langauge :p

and hey too you too Nem! We are still hoping one day to get ya down here to Road Atlanta! One of our members got the expensive header and it only gave 3hp and 2 lbs thorque. About $400 per hp lol! He has dynoed 201 however (true reading) he just has the Revi ,act flywheel, custom catback and the n flash. I throw plastic coke bottles at him when he pulls me coming out of turn 7 (110 degree turn)! He a damn good driver and its that and not the car thats doing it!
I'm wondering now if lighter wheel/tire package will help me more than anything. Course I do need some koni's
Sorry for the highjack dude ,i shutup now.

hes like me. Broke!
with 3 teenager and buying my wifes depends it doesnt leave much to play with. But we find ways!
Heres what I have done
1- rb catback --2 hp but great sounds and looks- list price i was one of the 1st to get it yey!
2- cz stage 2 non custom map
3- act prolite flywheel--good mod, installed about $700 but worth it
4- RB intake- $290 plus shipping and I was one of the 1st batch sold --lucky me!
I have had all flashes since K (thats L ,M and now N)
I did a custom intake before the RB one but only had about $50 in it. better than stock but RB has it beat.
RB sways and endlinks-- few hundred installed
The way I see it, it has cost me about 0.0000005 cents a smile!
I guarantee you I can break a 14 sec 1/4 mile easily and I can run with the older vette's outrun the stangs, even with a lot of others that should beat us at road atlanta. Matter of fact one member is having some stickers printed up that say "you have just been pasted by a 1.3 liter!"

Nice. I have no doubt you can break the 14 sec. Btw are you the guy who made the custom intake with those 2 blue flexy pipes? I love that pic.
