The spintech mufflers are fantastic. On an RX-7 they are way too loud to be functional. I'd be interested to hear how loud they get without the cat or center presilencer installed. The neat thing about the spintechs is that they have little to no backpressure. Their design actually promotes scavenging. They also get more efficient as rpms go up which is completely unlike any other mufflers out there. It doesn't matter too much if you are idling or have it floored at high rpm's. The intensity level stays about the same. They may not look like the prettiest things out there but just get them powder coated and they'll look as good as everything else out there. They are also quite durable. They are all hand welded 304 stainless steel. Since there is no packing material inside of them you just can't blow one out. The only way for one to fail is for one of the internal cylinder baffles to come loose. Those guys know how to weld too so I wouldn't worry about that. I'd love to hear them in person. I wish someone closer had them.
