So... without voiding the warantee.....
I just had my Mazdaspeed Flywheel and Exhaust added and I'm very very impressed.... and simultaneously convinced that I won't be able to stop until this machine is modded to the nines. The thing is, I don't want to void my warantee just yet by adding really expensive (though really rewarding) high hp gain parts. So.... the next question to me is, where do I turn? Where can I get some more performance, without voiding the warantee that I won't be dissapointed with but that will still add value and enjoyment to the ride? Brand new pearl white 6MT.... it's a canvas and I'm ready to paint..... and maybe I shouldn't be so warantee concious? All thoughts are welcome.

get mazdaspeed suspension setup, intake, and also mazdaspeed LSD. (mazdaspeed parts will not destory your warranty as long as they are installed by authorized mechanics)

While adding a flywheel doesnt neccessarily void your "warantee" (I cant spell either), especially if it was installed by a dealer, it will make it difficult to recoup losses relating to your drivetrain. You should though be able to get any work done on your electrical system, suspension, interior... You want horsepower? You want FI. Now, say goodbye to your "warantee"
Having said that. Go all out. Do your mods DIY. Just be ready to fix stuff yourself, too. |

Get lightweight wheels and better tires. The less rotational weight you have the better the car can go and stop.

"modded to the nines" figure of speech. kinda like "dressed to the nines" http://alt-usage-english.org/excerpts/fxdresse.html nerd mode OFF :nerd: |
Reemember that Mazdaspeed orange parts have no warranty. (Race only parts with no warranty on the part themselves, or the car they are installed on)
|
you can do a couple things that may or may not work...first whenever you take your car in to get serviced find the tech that you think would be coolest and be very nice to him. second you could go throught the hassle of switching out parts everytime you take it in to be serviced though with some parts this wont work. With a cz i know you can turn it off or remove it really easily. also think about it what do you need your intake/exhaust warrentys for...after all that for some serious gain though you'll have to wait it out like the rest of us and go FI after you warrenty expires

This is from their warranty verbage. Purchaser acknowledges that vehicles equipped with MAZDASPEED "Orange" Performance Accessories shall not be operated on public highways. MAZDASPEED "Orange" Performance Accessories are intended solely for the use on vehicles participating in race/off-road competition events. Purchaser acknowledges that all Mazda vehicle/parts/accessory warranties are voided if the vehicle is used in a competitive event." |
