1) Burnt blue tips. They look fantastic.
2) I want a lower note in the low revs.
3) No drone.
4) Overall slightly louder than stock, although WOT it can scream.

I'm hoping more so for a list of possible options I can go research.... I've looked into the agency power and exotic speed (with OEM cat) but I'm concerned they'll still be too loud, and drone.
I'm looking at that same exhaust as well and I found a bunch of them online. Your lucky I'm a lot nicer than a lot of the people on this forum. Try Vivid Racing. Google is your friend.

Yeah, I already reached out to Vivid, they're out of them.

Here's what the guy I got in touch with there replied to me with:
"The Greddy SE exhaust has been discontinued. It has been replaced with the Greddy SP elite and the cost is $840
Let me know what you think."

I've also tried:
-JDM Hub
-Direct Tuning
-Performance Alley
-FMP Racing
-LSD motorsports
-FR Sports
-MVP motorsports
-RX7store
-The only reseller I could find on Ebay
-Called Greddy directly.
-Assaultech

Try HPF..... they have one listed but if that doesn't work there is always HKS.

I'll repeat: the Exoticspeed RII-Titan is super good. With a little bit of practice, you learn how to make it bellow and how to keep it quiet. (hint, it has to do with throttle control ).

I have a Toyosports cat-back on my 8. not sure whether you have heard of it or not. its a small company based in the UK. They do the Manifold and De-Cat also. My exhaust sounds really nice. It's quite high pitched, pops and bangs all the time (this is with a cat). When i get a chance i'll take a video of it.

Actually this guy has a Toyosport full exhaust and it sounds very nice but too loud for my taste. I imagine the cat back sounds amazing.

well, you posted in the right thread at least. Did you read it?

You aren't really going to see any gains other than noise from any cat back.

i'm ok with that. i dont feel like the car really needs more power for me. I daily it already, and it has more then enough power for me to have fun when i want to. if anything i just want to car to sound like it feels to drive. if i'm investing money in it's preformance it will be in the handling. even though it already handles better then anything ive ever driven. and i can corner near as fast in it as i can on my bike.

Dunno if anyone here has done this but I'm pulling off the AP exhaust to install wideband and egt guages. This is what dual res AP with straight pipe sounds like on a turbo renesis. Skip to 0:56 to skip me talkin and jackin with the camera.

Who makes the lightest cat-back exhaust?

One of the hard to find full titanium exhausts (JIC Magic), or HKS Hi-Power if you want proven and good quality.

Race Roots single sided if you want an HKS knockoff.

+1 what Fuz wrote. Also, the Tanabe Ultra Medallion is pretty light, but discontinued. Beyond that you have to look at JDM stuff that is all Ti, like the Amuse, but major $$$. R-Magic makes a single as well that is pretty light, but it's $1600.00 This is why many people either go with the HKS, or custom make a single.

Here's an interesting one.

I'm not sure how it compares to the others but, my ExoticSpeed R2-Titanium was pretty light. But bear in mind, it's a dual can and obviously a single exit exhaust will be lighter.

Amuses dual Ti claims to be 7-8kg which is lighter than the HKS single which is something like 24 lbs, theres nothing like pure titanium for weight/wallet reduction.

I know this is probably a complicated question to answer, but... What causes the extreme differences in prices between different exhausts? I understand the differences between the titanium ones and stainless steel ones, but what causes things like the RB and TurboXS to be so much cheaper than the Greddy, Borla, B&B, etc. ? Just trying to understand the differences and if it's actually worth it to pay twice as much as some aftermarket exhausts for some of them.

Brand name, quality of materials, and quality of workmanship are usually the biggest price increasers.

Makes sense.

Has anyone heard both the TurboXS and Exotic Speed R2 and can comment on which they think is louder? For comparison's sake, say they both had the same cat or midpipe. I'm interested in both, and know they're both pretty loud.
