If not I will get one mounted by this weekend on my car. |
weight?
|
Shipping weight is 24 lbs, I tried weighing it by itself it was ~22lbs
|
meh, at least it's low cost
|
I could do it out of ti and have it cost 3 times as much but I really didn't think too many would pay that much
|

Also my photography skills stink, I would wait until someone with better skills posts some pics and reviews. |
The HKS single Hi power is not all that "stylish" either....
|
stylish humm its serves as purpose of a single exhaust up but HKS is less bling i think. plus only style hks has it the tip on the end thats all. i like to know the sound of this and how loud it gets.
|
Well I hope to see some video reviews soon and some customer feedback. I am offering the $25 credit on those that do so.
|
Personally I like the look of the HKS on the RX8. Obviously not as nice as something from Exoticspeed, but at $400 I think this new exhaust is now the cheapest cat-back on the market for the RX8. Correct me if I'm wrong. Seems like it could be a good buy, provided it sounds good. I'm not interested in paying $800 for a cat-back when all they do is add noise...

I love my HKS.

All u see is the tip im not trying to bag but when it,all comes down to it its just personal prefrence because there are some who wont put hks,or greddy on there cars.
|
^ Yep. I get bored easily so likely the HKS won't last long.

Do you have future plans to design/manufacture these for Series 2 RX8s (2009-11):icon5:

BUT, I would need a S2 to test fitment as it is. Anyone interested would get a sweet deal. If it completely will not fit I will take it back of course. |
like someone else said, I'm not interested in spending $800 + an a mod that doesnt add any real HP gains..at $400, I'm very eager to hear some sound clips, I think I may have to order one! how much would shipping be to Alberta, Canada?
Thanks! |

Not likely, since the market is so small. If however it only needs minor modifications then yes. I might be able to offer the series 2 people the longer exhaust hangers so it has the clearance it needs.

Edit: I'm seriously considering picking this up and seeing how hard it would be to get it fit the S2 correctly. I just would like to know how loud it is first. |

Send me one, I'll let you know how it fits... But I wonder if it would be as simple as putting an extra bend at the exit of the muffler, or would it require new/longer hangers. Either way I'm sure it wouldn't cost much for a muffler shop to cut the tip off and weild another one on there.
