I'm holding off on the bronze cup for now. Let's see how the MDS impregnated nylon 6/6 works first. Rotarygod has told me that on his 7 he has seen this part completly disapper. If that is the case then something should be done. Maybe my new polymer will fix the problem. It's not hard to change. Maybe when we have time we will test one.

Rasputin, I don't know that. You might check the part numbers and see if the same shifter fits in stock transmitions. They may be entirely different trans from different venders. Or they could be built inhouse and share parts. What is the splt in sales over there? Also the highperformance driver usually buy the 6 speed anyway.
I checkded : MT6 and MT5 shifters have different PNs! So they should be different.

As we speak the pivot socket is being machined. After they scrap a few and get the program down the only thing left is the little shoe and we are ready to test. Give the testing some time and I can't say how long because it will be wrong and I'll get s--t over it.
But it is a matter of days till the beta testing starts. There are two feild cars ready to go, one with a mazdaspeed shifter in it already. As soon as they say it is good we will ship.

I don't know about before January.. but I would think that it will surely be out by Febuary at the latest, lets hope

The Beta testing for the shift kit shouldn't take longer then 2 weeks once Richard finishes up the fabrication of the other peices.

Gomez,

Try to charge Puma more and/or put his name at the end of the list so he has to wait until Christmas 2005.

Why, because he is an strange alien type dude who speaks in a freaky manner?!

Or because it will take him that long to get his car fixed...... :D

Richard Paul- would you consider fabricating some metal clips for our center console lid?
I think this is a minor project that a lot of us could really benifit from.

Richard has always been good with PM's. But making a new thread so this gets it's own attention would be a good idea

That looks like a shity little anoying problem. I can't belive Mazda hasn't come up with a replacment themselves. It must be costing them a bunch to fix every car several times. I'm activly looking for a car to buy right now so I will probably have that problem myself.

Who knows if it lends itself to just being duplicated in aluminum I may just do that. But plastic has the advantage of being self lubricating. It really isn't something that we could take on unless it starts to bother me personally then I'll get mad at and kill it.

I need to take the pictures first. Then have them put to disc. I'm poor and too old to get a digital camara. Plus I need a seamless for backdrop and it is at work. You should hear from me by this time tomorrow.
