Revi, vacuum hose removal
 
Hi all, trying to install the revi, but Im having a hard time trying to remove the vacuum hoses. Any tips please?

Vacuum hoses tend to sort of bond themselves to connecting nipples. :rolleyes:

Since you don't reuse any of the parts, take a sharp knife and make a slit along the vacuum hose from the base of the connecting nipple to the end of the connecting nipple. The vacuum hose will simply pop off after that. :)

That hose is cheap rubber, I'm sure if you did need to replace it, it would be easy to find.

thanx guys, I used a tool called "strength" and pulled it out. :)

or you could just wriggle it from the bottom. just pick/pull on the bottom with a finger nail at one point and work around the tube.

I used pliers to push it down from the top end part. It didn't even take strength to unlatch it. I guess I can say, I used a tool.
