REVi Install Question
 

I'm thinking about installing the RB CAI to use with the stock airbox. I know this install will require removal of the Rx8 front nose. My question is if I want to install the REVi in the future, will I again have to remove the front nose?

Should work without removing the bumper again....

You need to remove the nose to take out the hose work under the nose (I think they are referred as V duct?) to install the ram air intake. When you install the revi there are 2 screws that need to be installed through the front hole in the nose of the car to attach the intake correctly. So yes you will have to take off the nose of the car and at least move the ram air intake out of the way. Unless you want to remove the filter from the box and put those 2 botls and nuts on reaching through the back of it. I am not sure if you can reach it but you could try.

Yeah you will; I installed the REVi first, and then the CAI when it became available. Best if you can do both at the same time (REVi first).

Yes, you can. So if you install the duct now and later want to install the REVi, you can do that without removing the front bumper again. Just remove the filter from the box first.
However, the only problem I can see is that this way you can not install the seal that makes sure the box and the duct connection is sealed. If that doesn't bother you, you can go in this sequence.
