Racing Beat exhaust run in period
Just got a Racing Beat exhaust system installed here in Tokyo. It was a lot of fun to drive home. Great sound. Also got blue wide angle door mirror glass installed. So far pretty happy with those too.
My question is that mechanic who fitted the new exhaust told me that I should not accelerate rapidly for the next 500kms, but normal driving should be fine. He said that if I do this, it may cause the exhaust to be louder than when initially installed. Is this a folk tale, something I should worry about? 500km takes a long time here in Japan where roads are crowded... I haven't heard about this before??? Tom. |
Never Heard of that before. Maybe some others on here will have better input.

Bit expensive though. Not sure if they are available in the states or who actually makes the glass. Regarding, exhaust run in, any ideas? Tom. |
Never heard of that story about the exhaust.
Physicaly how can that be possible? |
