race tranny or built tranny

does anyone know of a website or place that can build up my tranny or have tranny's for rx8's that can handle more than our normal power? I'm building my motor completely with mazdatrix parts and need to obviously beef up my tranny. I have the greddy turbo kit going in with the nitrous expresss intercooler spray kit and having it tuned and everything for 8 psi on one setting and 12 psi on the other, but in the long run, i'll run closer to 15 with everything built.

why not take the stock transmission as far as it can go? Mazda puts out awesome transmissions, if it's even close to the quality they put out with the rx7 transmissions you should be fine with that setup.

You should be good if your clutch and and flywheel are replaced with stronger ones, it seems most of the problems come from botht he clutch and the flywheel getting chewed up or at least thats the re accuring problem that I see people talking about.

Also, got to say that your 8 sounds fucking sweet from the description in your Sig, much of what I want to do although I would have gone with some better cooling elements such as an better oil cooler and radiator (Mazdaspeed racinging selles a kit with a sports radiator and an oil cooler and a couple other things to make it race ready and a factory bolt in roll cage, something I am very interested in.

Has anyone gone in and gotten their gears shot peened?

Oh, hey, it seems ATS produces a Carbon Clutch for the RX-8.

I am also looking for a clutch and flywheel replacement. Mine never last long because i am always racing. If you find some better info. on these let me know i would love to have a clutch last the life of my car. Hay if porsche could do it in the GT then i want to do it in my 8.
