I've had two mid-pipes on my '04 RX8:
They both generated a CEL within a couple days of installing it or clearing the DTC.
Once the CEL came on, there was no "on-and-off", just constantly illuminated.
- Agency Power Mid-Pipe
- MazSport's Mid-Pipe
