Pie in the sky wishlist for all-motor?
 

Ok, for the sake of discussion, let's assume an RX-8 owner who has more money than sense. He or she can afford to spend any (and mean ANY) amount of money on customising the internals of his S1 Renesis engine, even to the point of having custom-made alloy rotors with ceramic coatings and aluminium side housing fabricated; but he or she is adamant about staying NA, never mind that he or she is perfectly happy to spend more money for fewer gains.

Question 1:
Who would our wealthy lunatic be best off farming out these fabrication tasks to? RacingBeat? BHR? NASA?!?

Question 2:
In addition to the obvious, including at least a decent street porting, how crazy could our hypothetical wealthy lunatic go in creating the "ultimate" streetable NA S1 Renesis? Ceramic seals? 2mm or 3mm? What would be the very best parts money can buy?

I'm operating on the assumptions that our hypothetical wealthy lunatic is already running between 1 and 3 HJS racing cats and let's assume that he or she would contract with MM for tuning it once it was all together and in the car.

I don't think there is a single answer, as the application of the engine is just as important as anything else.

Building a 100% race engine is different from building an engine for your car for the street.

Racing Beat and Pettit Racing are west coast and Florida options, but I would say you need to work out what you want to spend the hypothetical millions for, rather than just ask how much it costs.
