Other than Force Induction?
what are good mods other than force induction that put out some good numbers?
|
Probably the most poular question from new owners. Lots of stuff on this site about that.
The simple answer is not much. Mazda did everything they could from the get-go. Maybe a little too much as they had to refine the state of tune with software to gain durability as in detuning it a bit over the years. Racing Beat has some goodies, but even after $2000 you'll end up with a lot more noise, a little bit of power (maybe 20 HP) and an air conditioner that won't work very well in traffic. If you have to have more power it takes more oxygen, but that gets expensive in a hurry. Nitrous is the poor man's answer, while turbos and Superchargers take a keen tuning ability. Even with keen tuning things can quickly go dreadfully wrong. There are a handful of folks here with FI with good success. Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go? |
dont delete my post!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear swapping the renesis out for a 3 rotor will put out some better numbers, even NA.
