just got my RX-8 need help!
HI all, Just got my 2004 RX-8 with 40,000 miles and love it! IT's in great shape and was really nourished by the previous owners. Anyway, I have a question about lowering the car. I've been lookin at all the different springs out there and they all seem to lower the car at different heights. Basically I wanna lower the car as much as possible to eliminate as much wheel well space as possible but still keep it a safe drop. TEin? Eibach? Sprint? And will the OEM shocks do okay with lowering springs or do I have to get some aftermarket shocks as well? I really don't want to buy anything other than the springs. Also do I need a camber kit? OR can the camber be corrected with an alignment? Thanks for any insight you can provide....

start there..
what do you consider a "safe drop"?
most will advise that shocks are a good idea. i dont see much talk of camber kits around here, but thats where reading through that section of the forum will help

this covers most of it.. except the eibachs drop 1.2 / 1.2
and yes you will need to have it aligned..
anything more than these you are on your own..

you have to get an alignment after you replace your suspension? huh.. i guess that makes sense.
i want a seriously slammed ride. i go really slow over bumps as it is so it wont make a difference. do you guys know of anything that drops it like 2+"? are coilovers my only option?
