Need Help with Turbo setup

Hello, I'm curious about something, why is it when I set my BOV to the lowest setting on my GReddy turbo setup and rev the engine the rpms drop down to almost 0 and sometimes the motor actually stalls out for no reason, however I put my BOV to almost the hardest setting and it dosent happen anymore, however I'm not running enough psi of boost to really hear any sound at that level I really miss the whistle sound of my Type-S BOV can someone please help. :banghead:

Uh, because when its on the lowest setting, you are bleeding off more air and the MAF/PCM doesn't like it.

Recirculate.

On it's lowest setting the spring inside has no preload and it's bleeding off air.

like said above.... At idle on the lowest setting the BOV is leaking air into the "atmosphere" this is not being read and tuned for therefor the A/F ratios are thrown off, It takes a little bit to find the right balance on the BOV so its closed at idle but opens enough to prevent compressor surge. I have done several turbo setups on cars before and i find that on most i have to open up the BOV itself and cut the spring inside to get it just right.

Or just use an HKS or Syncronic.

HKS ftw
