I just came across this thread which I'd completly forgotten about. What stands out is: It's been 20 years since I first started making these.
Boys from Oz are very funny guys. The damn thing was never named. I am still taken most by Catwoman's name. That the Aussie's like
to name themselves after "Get Smart" people. Maybe some other '60's sit coms. The first shifters went to Oz because they pushed me
to develop it. It was a fun part of my life. I made a lot of friends on this forum, even some of you visited.

Comforting to know that after all these years someone still cares. But I don't get it! If I remember right she was a very nice looking lady.
I think she drove a Lotus though.

Jedi54,
22.5K Posts? You must really like it here. I should be paying more attention to the group. But there was a time the 8 was dying and cars were rare and cheap.
But now I notice the prices have gone up yet to find one is hard. The later ones look very nice to me now. Had some thoughts till I saw the prices. Still in the range for a "Sunday" car.
I've been selling more S2 shifters now. Just don't have the space to keep one indoors.

glad you're still around Richard . Seems like forever ago a bunch of us drove up to your shop to get shifters installed / purchased from you.
Yeah, the car market is getting pretty nuts out there. If you find a really nice clean 8, the price stings a bit.

the irony of my post count is that there's still 2 other members with more posts than me.
