Muffler help

Guys i need help. I have a B&B midpipe on my car and at first it sounded pretty good. A few thousand miles later it got raspy. Now it sounds like sh!t !. A few people have told me my car sounds awesome from the front (intake) and crappy from the back but i figured its just different opinions. Tonight someone said it sounds like crap from the back so i said hmm let me hear it myself. When im driving it sounds a little raspy at 4,000 rpm + but u cant really hear anything. So i let a friend drive it, and im so disapointed at the sound from the exhaust. The exhaust is stock besides the midpipe. It sounds like a old beat up civic with a hole in the muffler or something, its so raspy and metal sounding. I want to buy mufflers asap, will this make it sound better or what should i do. I want something not loud at idle and deep. I dont care if its loud at WOT. I like the Racing beat exhaust but i just need the mufflers, where can i get them. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Have you put your 8 on a lift to make sure nothing is wrong w/the midpipe? It sounds odd that it would sound worse over time, given that it's just a metal pipe...

Check for any leaks between the connections of the midpipe/exhaust. Sound like it may have gotten loose.

maybe your illegal exhaust sounds like sh-t because you're a polluting turd ;)
