midpipe time for me? got some questions
hey there guys, been using a esperlir exhaust for a while with the stock cat, friend in an sti bought a blitz exhaust which deletes the cat which kind of tempts me. Was looking at the rx7store non resonated midpipe, but after reading some threads here and there, was wondering when i get it installed, any way to not get the engine light to come on? or at least turn it off after i get it installed? and will it even fit the espelir exhaust? thanks guys

Will fit espelir and it looks like the only permanent way to turn it off is by using the cobb accessport...
Unresonated = loudddd |
I have the Espelir with the B&B midpipe which is not resonated. I pretty much hold the title of the loudest mazda in the Arizona Mazda Club (50+ cars). It gives some gains and will allow you to tune more lean with the Accessport if you buy it.
Not sure about the RX7 pipe, but it should bolt up. You will have a CEL though, no way around it without engine management. |
awww that kind of sucks, i guess i'll just stick with my catback for now, no way i'll be as loud as subies without a cel coming on >.<

I have a resonated midpipe with the stock exhaust. Its not as loud as I expected but I do notice better pickup in the higher rpms
