Mazdaspeed Coilover released ?

Mazda just updated their site.

http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/spee...4&categoryId=4
Coil Over Suspension Kit
RX-8 (2004-2007) Warranty Level: Orange

Part Number: RAMS-8M-K01
MSRP: * $1,850.00

And in their newest brochure :

http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/pdf/...ochure_acc.pdf

Coil over suspension
Ride height adjustable between 20mm and 50mm lower than stock. Spring rate increased 90% over stock depending on vehicle model. Dampers have single knob adjustment for rebound and compression.

Get this will decrease the ride quality like hell, 90% over stock ...... but depending on vehicle model what does that mean ? I like the ride height adjustable. but if I get it I would say the max I could go would be around 20mm cuz 50 mm lower than stock would kill my already kinda low for NYC use 8.

What you guys think ? its MSRP of 1800 bucks, I would say you should be able to get one for about 1500 ?

How about some other aftermarket suspension kit? That is WAY expensive..damn..the Koni/Tein setup looks better after reading this announcement..

i wonder if the ride height is adjustable i'll the car in grounded or partial lifted, or do you have to lift and open up everything for each corner.

yes it is released, $1295 through the MazdaMotorsports racers program

I believe it has adjustable ride height and adjustable shock rebound valving. It's a true coilover setup, believe the rates are stiffer than the other Mazdaspeed spring/shock kit, but it's been quite a while since I spoke to them about it, maybe a year at least ...

Well thats a pretty cheap price for a true and decent coilover suspenion kit. Im talking about the Mazdamotorsports price ... if you think THIS is expensive look at the JDM ones like HKS and FEED or Re-aimemiya

I sign up for the motorsports program but its almost no way for me to get *appoval* cuz I need to race at least twice in a year ... and the closest race track is like what. 3 hour drive ?....
