Where's Mugatu when you need him?

I hate to say this, but there are better cars for drifting. You need wheel-spinning torque; not driveline hop. The RX-8 is designed to stick to the road, not to do donuts in a parking lot.

Having said that, it is skill that makes a good drifter. Read about how to drift. Take an introductory drifting course. Practise (off road). Then, think about how you should set up or modify your car. My advise is the same for any type of motorsport; from drag racing to roadracing.

nycgps said it much more succinctly, though. :uhh:

Are you sure you dont want to hop over onto Zilvia.net?

04-08 RX-8 come with a 4.44 Torsen type LSD
09+ come with 4.77 Torsen as well.

Also, the RX-8 is a very hard car to drift and parts are generally expensive if you are going to keep breaking them so get an s13, weld it and call it a day.... thats what I did. :)

Nah i already drift my car right now. Its not a problem im gonna turbo it but i was just wondering if i should upgrade it or not. I already am able to drift my 8 and hold it.
