Launching point with BHR lightweight flywheel
 
I tried posting this in the Aftermarket performance section but i cant post there fro some reason..anyway I was wondering what the best launnch point for and 8 with a lightweight flywheel(BHR lightweight flywheel)?? thanks for the help

As far as launching, that is subject-able to the driver but a good rule of thumb is max t/q RPM.

I have the Mazdaspeed LWF and use 3K for a launch point. I provides just a small amount of wheel spin without bauging the motor down too much.

Oh ok.. thanks for the info so basically your saying launch at 5500? When i try to launch at 5k it spins like crazy i was actually thinking of launching at 2-2.5k..might just be a trial and error type of thing though idk

Yeah this makes sense to me..5k has my 8 wanting to kick out

IDK, I dont launch just putting my thoughts in to retract 5.5 is to high unless you have some really good tires.

Anything less that 9 grand is for suckas.

anywhere from idle with no throttle input all the way to redline depending on what you're trying to achieve and skill level

the question is too undefined to answer accurately
