JIC or STANCE coilovers?

i wanna buy new coilovers for my car, and this is what i have in mind so far... can anybody give me ride quality, and height adjustability of this coilovers... preferably from owners...:)... i actually like something i can use for drifting, and time attacks...:)... i also wanna slam the car to the ground FOR CAR MEETS PURPOSES ONLY cuz i know it won't be very functional drifting or doing time attacks scraping everywhere... lol... thanks...0_o... btw... hks hipermax 2 is not on my choices, for i sold my stock struts with the rear upper cone mounts, and having trouble finding one... :(

I cannot speak for tracking or autocross or anything since I have not really had the chance to do so, but I can try to comment on some of the other things you listed.

First, the ride quality is not too bad. I have my stance set sitting on full soft front, and full soft + 3 clicks on the rear. My rear has 7k springs and the fronts are 9k's. At this setting, they are a bit harsher than stock struts, but not too harsh that street driving is unbearable.

Height adjustability on these is great, and at the settings that I have (less than a finger gap) I still have a long way to go to get even lower if I wish. The height setting isn't something that is easily done though. Because the height setting is separate than the coil adjustment perches, you actually need to remove the wheels, coils, and adjust accordingly to modify the height. I dont see how feasible it would be to "slam the car" for car meet purposes...

JIC coilovers are probably much harder to come by than Stance as they are/were separating from JIC Japan and making their own stuff. Stance has had trouble sending the correct springs with their coilovers. JIC, and probably Stance too, don't come with the rear upper mounts so that doesn't help the OP's situation (ask mazmart or partsgroup or make a WTB thread). My JIC FLTA2 have worked great so far and can go very low as well. The rears require the same work that paimon.soror talked about so don't expect it to be a 10 minute job.

Stance comes with the upper mounts so no worries there. As far as the correct springs, that was resolved a few years ago. A lot of the early kits came with 175mm rear springs, they have since resolved the issue and send out kits with 200mm springs

Eh I don't think it's fixed quite yet. I've read of a few people still receiving the wrong springs in the past few months.

isn't it just like the megan coilovers? cuz i can adjust my ride height without takin the coilovers out... :).. well on my megans... mine also have a separate spring preload, and ride height perches... :)
