Intake Manifolds

Do they make a N/A Intake Manifold for the Rx8? If so what brands are the best, Thanks.

The stock intake manifold is VERY good. It's better than anything that Mazda has ever put on a rotary by far. It's going to be extremely hard to do any better than it. You could of course custom build one but if it does make more power anywhere, I guarantee it will have lost more of it in other areas. Average power wins and the stock one covers such a broad range without sacrificing others that it's just not worth replacing.

stainless...? i dunno, but i know a guy locally who tried to have the OEM one chrome dipped... after that one was destroyed he reverted to rattle can on his backup

What about shorten the manifold 7" ? That's what i have done, but i yet to try it on the dyno.
